About MidnightRose Sewing
With a passion for sewing and learning as much as possible, I decided to share my knowledge with others. This company was created in November 2020, in the midst of Covid19 as a way to bring in additional income. I have had numerous students since then, and sharing my knowledge is a weekly delight and something I look forward to every time.
Our Courses
INVEST IN YOURSELF TODAY
I am offering a beginner course in sewing. This course teaches you how to sew your own clothes using commercial patterns, covering all the techniques you need to know as well as how to operate any domestic sewing machine. I have a wide range of sewing machines available, giving you the chance to practice on from the most basic machines all the way to fully computerised machines. I am also an Elna agent and can help you get the machine of your dreams. If you have your own machine already, I advice that you bring it to class so I can teach you exactly how YOUR machine works, and you can then easily carry on at home.
The beginner course is R2250 for 6 classes, each class 3 hours long. The full amount must be paid up front to secure your booking. Once the registration form and proof of payment is sent, your spot will be confirmed. I am all about quality and not quantity, as such I only take up to 5 students at a time.
You will receive a file with notes, as well as the fabric and items your will need to complete your samples. You also get your very own begginer kit! However, you need to buy your own pattern and fabric for the garment you wish to make.
The beginners kit iinclude the following:
1. Fabric scissors
2. Paper scissors
3. Thread scissors
4. Seam rIpper
5. Measuring tape (3m)
6. 30cm Ruler

10. Fabric marker (taylor chalk)
